A short visit to one of the oldest Hans once a point of distribution of Egyptian honey and onto the very lively "küçük pazar" with its many unusual mixture of shops from old candy factories to weights and scales to spices and colognes. Its interesting architecture also attracts the eye and the small Pakistani community with cafes and barbershops.
At the end of this street we will see the ancient the ancient aqueduct and go into a more residential area with a meat market and a totally different atmosphere, men sitting under the old aqueduct, families in outdoor Kurdish restaurants we witness a very local nightlife in the street sometimes called Kadınlar Bazaar or Siirt Bazaar.
The Fatih mosque is usually closed at night but the complex around it and the building itself is very impressive. Outside the cemetery and the square makes for a central meeting place for the Syrian community that have made their homes nearby and there is lot’s to observe and take in.
